A neutral electrolyte formulation that replaces the electrolytes lost in sweat. In the athletic horse, muscular activity increases body heat.  The only way for horses to get rid of this heat is by sweating.  Sweat takes with it a significant amount of electrolytes, especially chloride and sodium.  It is important for horses to maintain their Dietary Electrolyte Balance (DEB) in order to maintain intra and extra-cellular water volume Muscle contractions are also dependent on optimal electrolyte levels. Daily supplementation with Equine Electrolytes is the most effective way of ensuring the correct DEB.
