Gaviscon Cool product range works in the same was as Gaviscon Original products however, you may particularly appreciate its cool mint flavour if your symptoms include a bad taste in the mouth.

Gaviscon Cool products form a ‘raft’ over the stomach contents which helps prevent acid coming back up into the oesophagus (food pipe)

As such it is effective at treating the classic symptoms of heartburn (a burning pain in the chest and mild acid regurgitation)

Sodium Alginate 500mg, Sodium Bicarbonate 267mg, Calcium Carbonate 160mg

Dosage

Shake well before use. Adults take 10-20ml, children aged 6-12 years take 10ml. Take after meals and half an hour before going to bed at night up to four times a day. It is recommended that you do not lie down immediately after taking Gaviscon.
