Canesten cream is a Broad Spectrum Antifungal useful for Tinea and other fungal skin infections.

Canesten cream is useful for the treatment of Tinea, Athletes Foot, Ringworm, Thrush, Nappy Rash, Jock Itch, Pityriasis versicolor, and other fungal infections of the skin.

Active Ingredients

Canesten cream contains Clotrimazole 1% and benzyl alcohol 1% w/w as a preservative.

Dosage

Clean and dry the affected area thoroughly. Rub Canesten cream into the affected area 2 to 3 times daily.

Continue treatment for 2 weeks after symptoms disappear to avoid recurrence.

Adverse Effects

Canesten may cause infrequent erythema, stinging, blistering, peeling, oedema, pruritis, urticaria, irritation.

Not intended for ophthalmic use.
