Canesten is useful for the treatment of Vaginal Candidiasis (thrush) which is a common infection caused by yeast-like fungi.

The main symptoms of of the condition include itching, burning and discharge.

Dosage

Insert the Canesten pessary gently and deeply into the vagina at bedtime using the applicator provided.

Adverse Effects

Consult a Doctor if symptoms do not start to subside within 4 days.

Consult your practitioner if this is your first attack of the condition, or if you have had 3 or more infections in the past 6 months, or if you are pregnant, or suffer from diabetes.
