Lamisil is useful for the treatment of Fungal skin infections such as Athletes Foot, Jock itch, Ringworm, pityriasis, and candida skin infections.

Terbinafine, the active ingredient in Lamisil works by killing Dermatophytes and killing or stopping the growth of Yeasts.

Lamisil Dermgel is particularly useful for treatment of hairy areas.

Active Ingredients

Lamisil contains Terbinafine hydrochloride 1% w/w.

Dosage

Lamisil Cream is usually applied once or twice daily. It is important to thoroughly clean and dry the areas of treatment before use.

Apply the cream to the affected skin and surrounding area in a thin layer and rub it in lightly.

If you need to apply lamisil between your Toes, Fingers or Buttocks, or under the breast or armpit, or in the groin region, the area may be covered with guaze after applying the cream.

This is particularly useful at bedtime.

Warnings

Lamisil is not to be used by Pregnant women.

lamisil is not suitable for Infants and Children.

Avoid use around the eyes.
