Lamisil Spray15ml
For athletes foot.
For treatment of the following:
Athletes Foot (tinea pedis)
Tinea between the toes is called tinea pedis or commonly Athlete’s Foot, a term popularised by an American liniment manufacturer’s advertising back in the 1930s. Here the fungi infect the skin between and under the toes.
Ringworm (tinea corporis)
When tinea is present on most other parts of our body it’s generally called tinea corporis or commonly Ringworm. In ancient times people thought the infection was due to a worm infestation, which led to the condition being called Ringworm.
Many thought that Ringworm infections looked like the holes made in clothes by moths. In the Middle Ages physicians began calling the infection tinea, the name of a common family of clothes moths. In 1837 the true cause of Ringworm was found and subsequently proved that the condition was actually a fungal infection.
Jock Itch (tinea cruris)
Tinea cruris or Jock Itch is more common in men and affects the groin area – especially the creases in the upper thigh. Chaffing often exacerbates the condition.
