Blackmores Combat Day/Night is a potent herbal formulation that supports the body’s natural defences against winter ills and chills

Day Formula -

• Echinacea- Echinacea juice is included as studies suggest it may shorten the duration and improve recovery time of winter ills and chills. Echinacea has been shown to act mainly on non specific cellular immunity. It increases the number of spleen cells and white blood cells.
• Holy basil- traditionally used as a remedy for winter ills and chills in Ayurvedic medicine. It supports good health of the respiratory tract including the lungs and nasal passages, to allow a natural recovery from congestion. It also encourages sweating and therefore helps maintain a healthy body temperature.
• Eucalyptus- supports nasal passages to allow a natural recovery from congestion during winter ills and chills.
• White willow bark- The extract of Salix alba (white willow) contains a therapeutic level of the active constituent salicin, which supports the body as it deals with the discomfort of winter ills and chills.

Night Formula -

• The night formula also contains eucalyptus, white willow bark and holy basil (for the benefits above), with the addition of Hops to support sleep.
• Hops– has a long history of use in well established systems of traditional medicine for promoting sleep. This is useful during winter ills and chills, as feeling under the weather can disturb sleep.

Day Capsule contains:

Echinacea purpurea (Echinacea) juice dry 93mg, equiv. to fresh flowering herb 4.2g, (standardised to contain beta-1, 2-D-oligofructofuranosides 2.23mg) , Eucalyptus oil 68.7mg, Salix alba (White willow) extract equiv. to dry stem bark 1.6 g (standardised to contain salicin 15mg), Ocimum tenuiflorum (Holy basil) extract equiv. to dry leaf 1.5g.

Dosage

ADULTS -

• Day dosage: Take 1 capsule three times daily (morning, midday and afternoon) with food.
• NIGHT DOSAGE: Take 1 capsule before retiring, or as professionally prescribed.
• Children 2 to 12 years - We recommend Blackmores ImmunoShield Junior.

Warnings
