Echinacea is traditionally used to assist in the relief of symptoms associated with respiratory tract infections. It may also assist in supporting the immune function and reducing the symptoms and reoccurrence of the common cold and influenza. Andrographis assists with colds and influenza by reducing the severity and duration of symptoms such as fever, sore throat and muscular ache. Vitamin C may help relieve the symptoms and reduce the severity and duration of colds. Beta-carotene is a precursor to Vitamin A, which acts to support the immune function and keep respiratory pathways healthy. Zinc is important in the maintenance of a healthy immune function. Garlic has traditionally been used to assist in the management of minor respiratory infections and catarrhal conditions.

Dosage

Adults - Preventative Dose: Take 1 tablet daily with main meal. Treatment Dose: Take 1 tablet 3 times per day with meals, or as professionally prescribed.

Children - For children under 12 years we recommend Blackmores Cold Defence for Kids.
