Butacort 50 Nasal Spray helps alleviate symptoms of hayfever such as sore itchy eyes, runny nose and blocked sinuses. Butacort 50 Nasal Spray does take a few days to achieve full effect, so using the spray regularly is important.

Each spray contains - Budesonide 50mcg.

Dosage

Adult & Children over 12 years - Initially one or two sprays into each nostril twice a day (morning and night), then after 2 to 3 days, one spray into each nostril twice a day.

Butacort is not suitable for children 12 and under.

Warnings

Use Butacort nasal spray regularly at the times recommended. DO NOT exceed the stated dosage. If hayfever symptoms persist after 7 days, consult your doctor. You may experience sneezing attacks after using Butacort nasal spray or small amounts of blood in the mucus, if these symptoms persist see your doctor. DO NOT use Butacort nasal spray for more than six months except on the advice on medical advice.
