Coldsore relief, 23-1-2011

I suffer from coldsores whenever I get too tired and am unfortunately one of the people who do NOT get the pre-tingle of another attack. I generally use a drop of the propolis tincture on the end of a wet cotton bud and they seem to stop growing as soon as ive applied it a couple of times. Note: The coldsore stops growing but the skin still has to heal which can take up to a week if im too late in applying it. Water the tincture down for tender skin like lips & gums as it WILL burn the actual skin, effectively creating 2 problems. The brown stain can also be abit gross to look at for gawkers. (for spills wash it asap for minimum staining, ideally do not drip it on anything you like) but this product works for me - unlike other products (like zovirax, which obviously works for the lucky pre-tinglers) I am very excited about the idea of a lip balm which i can apply when I am tired,and possibly avoid coldsores before they even appear!! Will keep you posted. I also use this amazing tincture for cuts no matter how deep, also if i feel 'off' i swallow some with honey - quickly! I've even used it for a mouth gargle, with water, when i had a tooth pulled out - the dentist was amazed and said he'd never seen such a quick recovery in just 3 days :o)
