HSN-W© (Hair, Skin and Nails Formula) [Structural, Hair] contains dulse plant, horsetail herb, sage leaves and rosemary leaves. These botanicals provide significant amounts of herbal silicon (27.9 mg per 100 grams).
As reported by the National Research Council, silicon deficiency leads to structural abnormalities of the long bones and skull in chickens, leading researchers to conclude it is important to the human structural system. Silicon is also important to the proper utilization of calcium, a key mineral for the structural system.
The horsetail herb in HSN-W contains one of nature's richest sources of organic silica, plus herbal calcium, chromium, iron, magnesium, potassium, selinium and zinc. The silica specifically works to promote strength and growth to the hair and nails, whilst also supporting the body's own natural production of collagen. Collagen is our intercellular "cement", and works to maintain the skin's "firmness" and "elasticity".
