Active Ingredients
Each piece contains 2mg Nicotine.
Dosage
The usual dose is 8 to 12 pieces of gum to be chewed daily. Use no more than 24 pieces of gum per 24 hours.
From weeks 1 to 12 use 1 piece when there is an urge to smoke.
From 12 weeks onwards gradually reduce to 1 to 2 pieces per day and then stop use.
Warnings
Nicotrol should be avoided with concomitant smoking, Peptic ulcer disease, Cardiovascular disease (including recent myocardial infarction) Nicotrol should not be used in people with hypersensitivity to nicotine, non-smokers, Children.
, Diabetes, Hyperthyroidism, Phaeochromocytoma, Pregnancy or Nursing mothers.
