RESTORING GUT HEALTH AFTER OMEPRAZOLE

If you've been on Omeprazole (ie: LOSEC) for a long time to treat reflux, and you want to get off it. First you need to wean off the omeprazole slowly by reducing the dose over several weeks. The esophageal sphincter, which opens to let food into your stomach and then is supposed to close to stop acid going up the other way) stays open if your stomach PH is too alkaline, so it never closes when you're on Omeprazole. To raise your stomach acid back up to normal after weaning off Losec, take one or two of these tablets with each meal. This will cause the sphincter to close and keep the stomach acid in the stomach. It's a gradual retraining. Getting your stomach acid back to normal will kill off candida albicans overgrowth. This fungal entity grows in your gut and LOVES carbohydrates, especially wheat. When it feeds on the wheat you eat, it creates gas, bloating, inflammation and weight gain. Your gut has a microbiome that gets out of balance on Losec, and especially if you've had antibiotics, for example to kill Helicobacter Pylori which is what started all my troubles more than 15 years ago. Hope this helps - and heaps of information is to be found on You Tube.
