Active Ingredients

Each 15ml of Vicks Formula 44 contains 20mg of Dextromethorphan hydrobromide.

Dosage

The dose of Formula 44 is Adults and Children over 12 years: 15ml, Children 6-11 years: 5ml.

The dose can be repeated every 6 hours as required up to a maximum of 4 doses per day.

Warnings

Vicks formula 44 is not suitable for children under 2 years.

Do not take this medication with MAO inhibitors (Antidepressants) or within 2 weeks of stopping treatment.

Consult your Doctor before taking this medication if you suffer from Parkinsons disease, are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you have asthma, emphysema, excessive phlegm or chronic Bronchitis. If the cough persists beyond 7 days see the Doctor.
