The body gets enzymes from two sources: those it makes and those from food. Digestion relies on specific enzymes to release valuable nutrients from food. The broad-spectrum of enzymes, all plant-derived, in Thompson’s Digestion Manager was chosen to aid the digestion of all the macro-nutrients - carbohydrates, proteins and fats. As well as this, Bromelain and Papain have been included as they both contain an array of proteolytic (protein digesting) enzymes which work across a wide pH range. These enzymes have been scientifically tested to improve digestion by up to seven times in impaired digestive systems. Even in ‘perfect’ conditions, Thompson’s Digestion Manager can improve digestibility and absorption of nutrients significantly.

Digestion Manager also contains clinical dosages of the herbs Ginger and Peppermint. Ginger has been commonly used by traditional herbalists to treat gastrointestinal upset and nausea. Peppermint has traditionally been used for providing quick relief for acute gastric upset resulting from conditions such as overeating, nausea and acute dyspepsia.
