Gaviscon provides relief from Heartburn & Acid indigestion.

Gaviscon liquid helps to relieve the burning pain of Heartburn and the discomfort of Indigestion.

It helps to protect the inflamed Oesophagael tissue and prevent further inflammation by forming a physical barrier to reflux.

The Alginate "raft" helps to keep the gastric contents in place thereby reducing the likelihood of these irritating the delicate lining of the Oesophagus.gaviscon is safe to take while pregnant or Breastfeeding.

Active Ingredients

Each 10ml of gaviscon contains Sodium alginate 1000mg, potassium bicarbonate 200mg, and Calcium carbonate 200mg.

Gaviscon also contains Sodium, hydroxybenzoates and Saccharin.gaviscon double strength is sugar free and free of Gluten and artificial colours.

Dosage

The Adult dose of Gaviscon is 5ml to 10ml to be taken after meals and before going to bed at night ,up to four times daily.

Warnings

If symptoms persist, see your Doctor.

Children under 12 years should only be dosed on Doctor's advice.

Discard contents 3-6 months after opening.
