Lomide Eye Drops helps prevent red, itchy, allergy eyes. THIS PRODUCT IS AVAILABLE TO NEW ZEALAND CUSTOMERS ONLY AS IT IS PRESCRIPTION ONLY IN SOME COUNTRIES.

Lomide Eye Drops are used to treat Seasonal Allergic Conjunctivitis, an allergic condition of the eye that is commonly caused by pollens and other agents that produce an allergic response in the eye.
Seasonal allergic conjunctivitis normally occurs in line with seasonal increases in pollen.

Lomide eye drops may also be used to treat a severe allergic condition knowns as vernal keratoconjunctivitis, that is associated with redness, itching , pain and swelling in or around the eyes and eyelids.

Lomide is a mast cell stabiliser which prevents the mast cells from stimulating an allergic reaction.

Using Lomide shortly before expected allergy seasons assists in reducing the symptoms associated with eye allergies.

Active Ingredients

Lomide Eye Drops contain Iodoxamide Trometamol (equiv to 1mg/ml Iodoxamide) and are preserved with benalkonium Hydrochloride 0.07mg/ml.

Dosage

Use 1 drops of Lomide eye drops in the eye/s four times daily, ideally commencing before known allergy seasons.
They can be used safely throughout the pollen season.

It is possible that you may feel a slight burning sensation after instilling the drops.

Adverse Effects

Most adverse effects from Lomide Eye Drops occur in, or around the eye. These include a burning/stinging sensation, itchy or red eye/s, blurred vision or watering eye/s, crusting around eye lids, dry eye/s.

Warnings

Discard each bottle of Lomide Eye Drops 4 weeks after opening.
If you miss a dose of Lomide Eye Drops, do not take a double dose to make up for it.

Do not touch the tip of the bottle on any other surface as contamination of the drops may result.
