Vitamin B is a popular group of nutrients which are well known for supporting the nervous system, energy levels, and general wellbeing.

Once thought to be a single vitamin, the B-vitamin group contains thiamine (Vitamin B 1), riboflavin (B2), niacin (B3), pantothenic acid (B5), pyridoxine (B6), biotin (B7), folic acid (B9) and various cobalamins (B12 group).

Vitamin B supplements can be purchased individually, or in compounds containing all eight B vitamins called vitamin B complex. There are specific properties in each of the B vitamins, and many supplements and multivitamins contain B vitamins.
