Directions for use:

Attach to vanity mirror or smooth surface by gently pushing the suction cups on back of magnifying mirror so that both cups compress and adhere firmly.
For better holding power moisten cups slightly with water prior to adhering.
To remove gently lift edge of each cup to release suction.

Warnings

Do not use in direct sunlight.

Overpriced and cheap

I created an account in order to review this product so you won�t purchase it. It magnifies ok but is so small I don�t think an elderly person would practically use it. In addition, it isn�t worth 15$ (this includes shipping cost). Would be a dollar store item without a doubt.
