The European mountain flower, Arnica (Arnica montana) has been used for centuries in herbal medicine. Weleda Arnica Cream contains both Arnica flower and root extracts and essential oils. Tincture, % w/w equiv. dry plant: Arnica montana, flower 2.7%; Arnica montana, root 0.3%. Oil extract, % w/w equiv. dry plant: Arnica montana, flower 2%. Abies pectinata (Silver fir) Oil 0.06%; Lemon Oil 0.2%; Orange Oil 0.1%; Rosemary Oil 0.21%; Sage Oil 0.03%, in a base containing natural vegetable oils and beeswax.

Dosage

(Adults/Children): Gently massage into the affected area, 3-4 times daily in the acute stage and twice daily as the condition improves, or use as directed by your practitioner.

Do not apply to broken skin.

Weleda's Arnica Cream is pretty well the only cream that provides relief for joint and muscle cream for my husband. He has used it for years and rubs it in before bed and, when woken by pain, once or twice in the night.

I use this cream every night and sometimes twice a night to help with chronic pain in my back and legs. I have done this for several years and found it gives relief for several hours. The cream is effective and without side effects.
